About Hall Management Committee
The Village Hall belongs to Chartham Parish Council and is run as a charitable trust for the benefit of the people of Chartham. The hall has regular bookings for Clubs and Societies throughout the year serving the community. It is also a popular venue for private hire regular hirers include:- weddings, parties, concerts, plays, training events, lecturers, choirs. The hall is the main meeting place for most local community clubs and societies. It is a beautiful and versatile setting for any event.
Holding your Civil Marriage or Civil Partnership at the Hall.
Chartham Village Hall is delighted to announce that it is a licensed venue for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships.
The hall can accommodate 40 guests for the service and can offer catering facilities for up to 120 should you want to hold a larger reception after your special occasion.
This is the perfect setting for your Civil Ceremony and wedding reception. There is a pretty patio area suitable for photographs, designated bar area, stage and dance floor to ensure your guests stay together at all times to enjoy a great party.
Chair decorations are available for hire (Please contact Sally Hatcher on 01227 733888 or Carol Manning on 01227 731036) , red carpet and other additional dressings are also available to hire for an additional cost.
The Village Hall is used by numerous local clubs and organisations including the Woman’s Institute, Over 60’s, Gardner’s Society and Chartham Sports Club, as well as a Mother and Toddler group, Yoga, Bingo, Quiz Nights etc. There is also a Farmers Market every Thursday from 2.30 – 5.00 pm.
